Yevonne Le Lacheur
Registered Counselling Therapist - Candidate
Hi, I'm Yevonne. I support children, teens, and adults in making sense of what they’re going through — especially when things feel overwhelming, scary, confusing, or hard to put into words.
You don't have to have it all figured out to start — we'll make sense of it together.
Online counselling for children (9+), teens, and adults across Nova Scotia
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. We’ll figure out what works best for you, together.
Sometimes things just feel… off.
Like when your brain won’t slow down, and everything feels overwhelming and exhausting at the same time.
Or when you’re doing your best to manage everything that’s going on, but it’s starting to feel heavy.
Sometimes the ways you’ve been coping don’t seem to be working the way they used to — and you feel stuck or unsure how to move forward.
Other times, it’s your child who’s struggling — and you’re trying to understand how to help without really knowing what’s going on.
No matter what brought you here, sometimes it helps to have a space where things can start to make sense — without having to explain everything perfectly.
How I Work:
Therapy doesn’t look the same for everyone — and it shouldn’t.
Some people need a place to talk about things they can’t say anywhere else. Others want to better understand their brain, their nervous system, or why they react the way they do.
Some are looking for tools, structure, or gentle accountability. Others need space to vent, fall apart, or just not carry everything alone.

Most people need a mix of all of it.
You don’t need to know exactly what you need before starting. We’ll figure that out together — and adjust along the way.
Because life is messy.
Being human is hard.
And therapy should meet you where you are — not expect you to fit into a specific way of doing things.
Ways I Can Support You:
Getting support shouldn’t feel complicated or out of reach.
Therapy with me is designed to be flexible, accessible, and centred around what you need — at your pace, and in a way that fits your life.

More About Me:
My approach to counselling is flexible and collaborative, focused on helping you make sense of what’s going on — while building tools that feel manageable and realistic.
I also bring over 15 years of experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, and work in ways that are flexible, affirming, and responsive to how you think, feel, and process.
I meet people where they are, whether that means having a space to talk things through, learning more about how your brain and nervous system work, or finding small, doable ways forward.

I take my work seriously, but not myself too seriously — therapy can include hard conversations and moments of laughter, too.
